Are children welcome to join?

Answer

Rudy and I would love for the wedding to be a parents night out, however, we understand childcare may not be available for you. With this being said, we understand if your children will be in attendance, we just ask that you be extra mindful of them. The ceremony and reception both will be outdoors, and there is a private lake at the estate that is not fenced and freely open. Children may require extra attention!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony. You are welcome to arrive at the estate as early as you like, there will be some outdoor activities, and there is a lake and mountain views, perfect for photo opportunities!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Women can wear below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with block heels, nice wedges, or formal flats. The ceremony and reception are outdoors so please be aware that stilettos are not recommended as block heels would be best). As for men, opt for a dress shirt and slacks or a nice pair of jeans, with the option to wear a tie. PLEASE AVOID WEARING WHITE OR OFF-WHITE/CREAM COLORS!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outdoors. Please note that sunblock, and mosquito spray will be available to you (but bring some just in case).

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In the summer months, the hottest month of the year in Aguilar is July, with an average high of 87°F and average low of 57°F.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Please enter in the address to the estate in your GPS before leaving your Airbnb or Hotel. There is no reception where the estate is, however, there will be some markers to indicate you are going the right direction. Once you get into the town of Aguilar, CO, there might be spotty reception, it is not that long of a drive to the estate.

Parking will be available in the field to the left when you first enter into the estate.

What type of food and drink will be served during the reception?

Answer

For dinner, we will be providing different barbeque entrees along with water and tea.

What are the rules for alcohol?

Answer

Please be aware that this is an estate and not an actual wedding venue. We are letting the wedding reception be BYOB. Please refrain from bringing glass bottles, and opt to bring canned drinks instead. Rudy and Krystal will be providing some alcohol as well. Please drink responsibly, if any guests are acting out and inebriated, you will be cut off. Again, there is a private lake nearby and your safety is our number one concern. If there are any questions regarding alcohol, please reach out to Rudy or Krystal via Facebook messenger or text message.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We ask that our ceremony be unplugged. Meaning no cellphones. This is a very special day for us and while we understand that photos are great for memories, we ask that you are present and mindful for us as we celebrate us becoming one. Once the ceremony is over, all photos are welcome! (One Exception, we are having flower boys and this would be the time to get your cellphones ready to record!)

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

We will be sending out the link to our website to RSVP. Please make sure you RSVP for only the guests that are on the RSVP specifically. If there is someone we missed, or if you are requesting a plus one, please message Rudy or Krystal via Facebook Messenger or text message.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We are asking to RSVP by May the 10th. This gives us enough time to plan and get final numbers in for catering. If you cannot RSVP by May 10th, please reach out to Rudy or Krystal via Facebook Messenger or text message. If you DO NOT RSVP, you will not be accounted for as we are having catering for only the guests that RSVP, and if you show up, you will need to bring your own chairs.

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

We will not be able to provide a virtual wedding celebration as there is no reception at the estate.

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Colorado?

Answer

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry, the only gift you can provide to us is your presence on our special day. If you are wanting to contribute monetarily, you are more than welcome to send monetary gifts via Cashapp, Venmo, or Zelle. We appreciate any and everything.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

If you do happen to bring gifts, you are more than welcome to bring them to the wedding, we will have a table set up for gifts and cards.
