Women can wear below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats.) The ceremony and reception are outdoors so please be aware that stilettos are not recommended as block heels would be best. As for men, opt for a dress shirt and slacks or a nice pair of jeans, with the option to wear a tie.
Please plan to arrive to the estate about 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. You are more than welcome to spend the whole day here as well as there is a private lake and mountain views. Perfect for photos. The ceremony will start at 4:30pm and last about 30 minutes. Immediately after the ceremony will be a cocktail hour from 5:00-6:00, so feel free to roam around the estate. The dinner will start at 6:00pm followed by the reception and dance. In regards to alcohol, please respect the property, any alcohol brought should be cans as glass beer bottles are NOT ALLOWED (liquor bottles and wine bottles are okay). This is a private property with a lake and we want everybody to drink responsibly, especially considering this location will be dark at nighttime. Your safety comes first. The owners have graciously offered anybody who brings a camper or tents to camp out on their land as well. We will have a list of hotel accommodations on our travel page.
