Please let us know your plans by July 9, 2018. Enter your first and last name where indicated under the "RSVP" tab at the TOP FAR RIGHT of this page.
The "Registry" tab on this site has a couple of things we would find most helpful as we start this next chapter together!
We love your kids — we really do. But we want Friday afternoon / night to be your time off! Our local wedding planner, Dahlia Bastien (dahlia_bastien@hotmail.com), can arrange a reputable babysitter to make that a reality. Most high-end hotels also have nannies they work with regularly. Rates are around 250 pesos per hour. Just let her know at least 2 weeks in advance.
If your invitation includes a guest name, then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. There are very strict guest limits at our venues, and going over the limit triggers big financial penalties.
Please find a FEW recommendations under the "Travel" tab on this site. Don't worry if these places are booked. There are endless wonderful (and affordable) options in SMA. Airbnb and TripAdvisor are excellent resources.
For the full schedule of events, please click on the "RSVP" tab at the FAR TOP RIGHT of this page and enter your first and last name where indicated. Everything you need (dates, time, location, attire, etc.) can be found there.
Colorful cocktail with flair? Bohemian chic? Burning Man elegant? Seriously, our eyes have gone sideways trying to decipher wedding dress codes. Look sharp (you will be memorialized in our photos FOREVER), but stay comfortable. Flat shoes that you enjoy walking in are a must, as we will be parading through the streets of San Miguel with a burro after the ceremony. Do bring something to keep you warm once the sun goes down. All events will take place outside (on grassy areas and cobblestone). Our colors are fall jewel tones: gold, burgundy, wine, dark red, raspberry, fuchsia, magenta and cream.
Casa Chorro is a beautiful 10 minute walk from the main square in the Centro. Uber is also available. Taxis are also a good option, but confirm the price before you ride. A ride within the central area of town should cost 30 to 40 pesos.
