We're getting married!

We met through mutual friends, nearly 10 years ago. While there was an immediate reciprocated attraction, the timing wasn’t right...David was living in Bradenton and focused on starting his career, while Kelsey was still finishing up school in Tallahassee, at Florida State. We kept up with one another through our mutual friends and social media for years. The timing was finally right when we both attended a camping trip with friends in June of 2019 in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We came back from the trip, and have been inseparable since!

In May of 2024, we embarked on our 2nd international trip as a couple to Greece! We flew into Athens for a cruise around some of the Greek Islands. Freshly off the 14+ hour journey to Athens, we checked into our Airbnb for our first night. We immediately went up to the rooftop of the Airbnb to take in the spectacular views of the Acropolis & Parthenon. We walked to dinner and had the most amazing authentic Greek food for a perfect first meal in Greece. On the walk back, Kelsey suggested to grab a bottle of wine to take back up to the rooftop to enjoy. (Would later find out that David was trying to figure out how to suggest going back up there after dinner, so this played into his plan perfectly). It was while sipping on wine, taking in all the sights and sounds of Athens nightlife from above, that David asked Kelsey to be his wife. It was the most perfect moment and setting to start a bucket-list trip, full of celebrations!
