What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is cocktail attire: cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, dark jackets and slacks. No jeans or tennis shoes please!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Give yourselves plenty of time to arrive to the venue and find your seats, it's fine to show up between 4:00-4:30pm, but the ceremony will start at 5:00pm sharp. Enjoy the views or grab a drink at the bar if you desire!

Are small kids welcome?

Answer

Your invite will indicate if you are able to bring your children. Ultimately, we are only inviting our families children to be a part of the day.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors overlooking the lake on the 10th green of the Blackhawk Country Club, plan to be outside for 30-40 minutes. Wisconsin in early July is usually around 80 degrees.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

If you are staying at the Best Western there is a shuttle that can take guests on a first come, first serve basis. Otherwise you can drive there and park. If you need to leave your car overnight, that's fine, no worries about it getting towed! Uber and Lyft are also available in Madison.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Is there an open bar?

Answer

There will be beer, wine, and soft drinks available for free to guests. However, there will be a cash bar if you would like to order a cocktail!
