Emma was born in Sterling, IL, and raised in Dixon. She is the daughter of Nathan Winters and Jackie Krull. She has one younger brother named Owen. Emma went to Dixon High School and graduated in 2018. After high school, Emma earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. She now works at OSF St Katharine in Dixon as an ER charge nurse and Nursing Coordinator. Emma enjoys reading, learning new things at work, going on walks, sewing, baking, and most of all, Taylor Swift*. *No Taylor Swift slander will be allowed or tolerated at the wedding, please and thank you.
Andrew Jacobs

Andrew was born in Spring Valley, IL and raised in Walnut, IL. He is the son of Jennifer and Rod Jacobs. He has one younger sister, Alexa. He went to Bureau Valley High School and graduated in 2014. After high school, Andrew obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. He currently works at CGH in Sterling as a shift coordinator and at Coal Creek Brewing Company in Princeton, IL as a brewer. Andrew is an avid outdoorsmen. He loves gardening, camping, making beer, cooking, hunting, fishing, and loving everyday.
Abigail Bell

Abby and Emma first met in CNA class in 2019, where they became quick friends and have been together ever since! After getting their CNAs, they went through nursing school together and even lived with each other for many years. They have been there for each other for everything over the years: from births, deaths, marriages, break ups, five moves, and one car accident, they are trauma bonded for life. Emma was even there for the birth of Abby’s daughter, Eleanor, and is her God mother.

Justin and Andrew met in the 5th grade through football but became friends in junior high. The rest is history.
Tayla Schwarz

Emma and Tayla have been known each other since they were kids, becoming good friends in high school. They did sports together, ran with the same friend group, went to dances together, and have always been there for each other. From prom planning to wedding planning, they now only live one block from each other. Before Tayla walks down the aisle for Emma, Emma will be walking down the aisle in Tayla’s wedding as a bridesmaid in June of 2026.

Emma and Michaela met while working in the ER as night shift nurses. Becoming quick friends, they relied on each other to get through the rough shifts. Michaela is Emma’s go to for advice and knows she is always there with unconditional love and support. They have seen a lot of things in their years working together that has only made their friendship stronger. Partners in crime at work, they did everything together from keeping patients alive, to cleaning them up, and everything in between; it was always a two person job. There is no one else Emma would rather do an enema with!

Molly is Emma's younger cousin but is more like her younger sister. Molly and Emma's brother (Owen) are very close in age and were involved in many of the same activities over the years. Emma has watched Molly grow into a beautiful, strong, and intelligent young woman. Emma is so proud of everything Molly has accomplished and hope she continues to thrive. Emma wants Molly to know she will always be there to support her, no matter what.
Owen Winters

Owen is Emma's little (and only) brother, he and Andrew met in 2020 when Emma and Andrew first started dating at only 13 years old. Andrew has had the pleasure of watching Owen grow from a stereotypical middle schooler to the young man he is today. Owen currently studies engineering at Bradley University in Peoria.

Emma met Alexa in 2020 when her and Andrew first started dating. Alexa is Andrew’s younger (and only) sibling. Alexa is always ready with a bad dad joke! Emma is so excited to finally have a sister she has always wanted!
Rodney Jacobs

Rodney or Rod is Andrew's dad and best friend since day one. Andrew credits the man that he is today to his father and everything he has taught him throughout life. Andrew wants to thank Rod for not only being a fantastic father but a genuine friend in life.

Ellie is the Maid of Honor’s daughter and Emma’s God daughter. Emma was there to see Ellie come into this world (Ellie cried, Emma cried, everyone was crying). Fun fact, Abby went into labor while walking around Target with Emma.
