Andrew and Emma met in February of 2020 while working together at CGH Medical Center. They first met on the medical floor where Andrew was a nurse and Emma was a CNA, they soon became close while working on the COVID unit together. Andrew would frequently bring Emma lunch and any shift that they work together they would take their breaks with one another. On October 1, 2020, they had their first official date at Candlelight in Rock Falls and on November 7, Andrew had officially asked Emma to be his girlfriend. Now almost 5 years later, after many jobs, moves, graduations, and more, they have built a life together!
Andrew and Emma have two dog babies. Leelah is 5 and Mac is 6. Leelah was adopted at 7 weeks old and has been with Emma ever since. They adopted Mac from Granny Rose in Dixon in May of 2023. Leelah is a sassy, diva who is wild and Mac is a laid-back couch potato. They love both of their babies very, very much. You will see them incorporated into their wedding and hopefully will make an appearance.
In true Taylor Swift fashion… In 2017, Andrew was working at Subway in Dixon to make some extra money while in school. Just a month after Andrew quit, Emma began working there. They never met. Andrew attended the University of Iowa and lived in Iowa City. Just two years after Andrew left, Emma began attending the University of Iowa. They never met. In January of 2020, Andrew got his first job as a nurse at CGH Medical Center. In February of 2020, Emma also got a job there as a CNA and at last, they finally met!
