We met in 2018 at Starbucks on Livingston campus at Rutgers University. The irony of the story is neither of us drink coffee so we stood there awkwardly in line not sure of what to order. I was in medical school at the time and Kriti was a senior in college, so we both ordered the cheapest thing on the menu. However, when we started talking there was a quiet magic in how easily we connected. We talked about our desire to travel and explore the world and shared intimate stories of our pasts. Our story led us to Switzerland in 2024 where I proposed to Kriti in the mountains. This was one of the best trips of our lives and one we will never forget. Now, we are excited for the next chapter in life and can't wait to celebrate our two cultures with our friends and family.
