Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center

This is a beautiful free park that allows you to drive through or walk through giant red rocks and learn more about Colorado Springs

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906

Colorado Springs has one of the top zoo's in the US. It is a high elevation zoo with spectacular views.

Manitou Springs

Manitou Springs, CO 80829

Manitou Springs is a small town just outside of Colorado Springs that offers cute shops and a friendly walking downtown.

U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum

200 South Sierra Madre Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903

If you have any interest in the Olympics, this museum is for you. It is super interactive and allows you to race against an Olympian or try to downhill ski. Tickets are reasonability priced and is a fun experience. Total time to make it through the museum is about 1 hour. The museum is just off of downtown.

COATI

Coati is a restaurant located downtown Colorado Springs that has multiple restaurants and bars inside. Get something for any craving. Kristy's favorite is the Korean Chicken Wings

Pakwan Indian restaurant and bar

3604 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80918

This is Matthew and Kristy's favorite Indian restaurant! We love the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken! Also you MUST get the cheesy naan. The portions are large and great for sharing.

Las Palmitas Mexican

3589 North Carefree Circle, Colorado Springs, CO 80917

Great little hole in the wall Mexican restaurants. They serve large burritos that you can get covered in white queso. They also have a great margarita!

Seven Falls

2350 South Cheyenne Canyon Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80905

Looking for waterfalls? Seven falls is owned by the Broadmoor resort and requires tickets in advance. Walk up the canyon to reach seven falls. Climb up the falls and go for a hike over the top of them if you are brave :) Tickets are about $17 and gives you a shuttle ride to the base of the canyon.

Want to do an activity during the day? Adventures Out West is a company located in Colorado Springs that offers a wide array of tours during the day.
