Chris and I were on completely different paths when we met. My house was about to go on the market, and I was getting ready to move to South Carolina. Chris, on the other hand, was preparing to start scouting Montana and Idaho. A mutual friend decided to set us up at the reopening of a store. we all had dinner together, and at one point, our friend joked, "Well, I guess my plan failed—didn’t get you to stay and not move." Chris just winked and said, “The night is still young.” And from there, the rest was history. Two weeks after we met, I left for South Carolina to house hunt. The whole time I was gone, Chris checked in, asking if Charleston felt like the right place. Deep down, though, he was hoping I’d hate it. When I came back, I unloaded the boxes, and something clicked—I decided to give love one last shot. From there, our adventures took off. We’ve traveled to eight states, from Alaska to North Carolina, and discovered our shared love for fishing, the outdoors and travel. Along the way, we decided to grow our family, and now we’re blessed with the most precious daughter, Everleigh. Chris's proposal was sweet, simple, and absolutely perfect. It was just the three of us, sitting on the beach in Gulf Shores, AL. The moment felt so natural, so right—just the kind of memory that captures everything we’d built together. Our journey is still just beginning, and we’re so grateful to have you all along for the ride. Thank you for being a part of it!
