Flights to LA land at LAX. From there you can rent a car, take a cab, or grab a Lyft/Uber to Marina Del Rey or wherever else you're staying.
The hotel where our wedding will take place is very close (about a 15 minute drive from LAX with no traffic)
Our tips for you:
1) It can be more convenient and actually cheaper to use Lyft or Uber during the wedding days, instead of having a car.
2) Embrace yourself for traffic (you can't avoid it in LA) by downloading your favorite podcast or road-trip CD.
3) If possible, try to avoid rush hour (mornings from 7-9 & afternoons around 15-19).
4) Always plan for extra time when driving (even if maps tells you how long it will take - it doesn't always take in all the traffic).
5) Keep in mind Los Angeles is spread out - to avoid spending most of your day in the car, try planning based on what area you want to explore! (Take a look at the map in Things To Do)
