How do I RSVP?

Question

When is my RSVP due?

Answer

Your RSVP and reservation for the wedding are due no later than DECEMBER 1, 2018. We still have many details to finalize with the venue and it all starts with an accurate head count. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prepare for our wedding.

Can I stay at another hotel and still attend the wedding?

Answer

No. Unfortunately all wedding guests must stay at the Moon Palace Resort; reservations to attend the wedding MUST be made through our planner Michele @ destinationweddings.com

Do I have to make my hotel arrangements for the Moon Palce through the Planner ?

Answer

Yes. All hotel arrangements must me made through Michelle through Destination Weddings, as per our agreement.

Which airport do I fly into?

Answer

We encourage all guests to use the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. It is closer to Ocho Rios and a more pleasant route to Ocho Rios.

Is there a payment plan available?

Answer

Yes, If you are looking for a flexible way to pay for your travel, the "Easy Payment Plan" is it! You will be able to budget for your trip according to your own schedule, instead of having to pay for it all up front. Once you accept your DestinationWeddings.com quote, you will be sent a credit card authorization link by email to make your initial deposit* to secure your reservation. Is there transportation from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

All bookings through Michele will receive free transportation to and from the Sangster International Airport to the Moon Palace Resort.

Question

Can I experience VIP expedited service at the airport?

Answer

Yes. Club Mobay, an expedited customs and baggage claim experience, is $50(adult) $25(child) when you arrive at Sangster International Airport. You get to quickly go through customs and immigration and enjoy a private lounge with food and drink while waiting for prearranged transport to Moon Palace. It’s $30 for this service on your return flight to have expedited “TSA” security check (similar to PreCheck) and use the Club Mobay lounge with food and drink while waiting for your departure.

When is my FINAL PAYMENT Due?

Funds must be paid by March 23, 2019.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes. You will need an active current passport. It will take about 8-12 weeks to process your application so start as early as you can. You can expedite your application at an extra cost. You can reserve your room now without one but your passport must be active before your room is paid in full.

What is a resort credit?

Answer

It's credit that you can use towards services at the resort You will receive at least a $500 Resort credit per room that can be used for the Awe Spa, off site tours, on site motorized sports, and/or private dinner on the beach. Are kids welcome?

Answer

The resort is very kid friendly and offers many activities to keep them engaged and entertained. Check out the hotel website to see kid friendly accommodations and activities. Kids age 0-17 are free in the room with 1 paying adult. *Please Note: This is a wedding event, parents use your discretion.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No. All bookings through Michele will receive free transportation to and from the Sangster International Airport to the Moon Palace Resort. If you pick any off site excursions, typically it will include transportation.
