if possible, plan ahead

The end of June is peak travel season in British Columbia, so we strongly recommend securing your accommodation as early as possible. This is especially crucial if you plan to stay in Vancouver around the wedding date, as the city will be hosting seven FIFA World Cup matches on June 13, 18, 21, 24, 26, and July 2 and 7, which will significantly increase demand for lodging. While the World Cup is unlikely to affect lodging near the venue, the area remains a sought-after destination for weddings and events, meaning accommodations can fill up fast.

Accommodation Booking

There is the option to stay on-site at Fraser River Lodge, though space is limited. However, there are many other accommodations within a 10- to 20-minute drive or Uber ride. In the Harrison Lake area, you’ll find options like Harrison Lake Hotel, Harrison Grand Motel, Harrison Hot Springs Resort, Harrison Beach Hotel, and many others. There are also several hotels in the City of Chilliwack, along with a variety of Airbnb listings throughout the area.

Travel to Fraser River Lodge

For our international guests, we recommend flying into Vancouver International Airport (YVR). If you’re traveling from Alberta or Ontario, you might also consider Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) as a convenient alternative. For guests arriving at YVR or spending time in Vancouver, you can take the Ebus to Chilliwack. The Ebus offers daily departures from Vancouver, and once you arrive in Chilliwack, it’s just a short 20-minute taxi or Uber ride to the venue. Alternatively, you can take the Millennium Line SkyTrain to Lougheed Town Centre Station in Burnaby. From there, transfer to the Fraser Valley Express (#66 FVX), which travels through Langley Township (Carvolth Exchange), Abbotsford, and into downtown Chilliwack. Be sure to check the FVX schedule for the latest stops and departure times. Once in Chilliwack, it's a short 20 minute taxi ride to the venue. Please see more information below. If you plan to drive to the venue, free parking is available.
