As most modern love stories begin, we met swiping for love on a hopeless place. The dating app, Upward, was for Christians, which (unlike others) allowed us to immediately connect with faith as the foundation. Kristine saw a cute guy, who looked good in a suit while dancing with an elder. Not to mention he also looked good holding a baby - SWOON. RJ saw a cute, down to earth, sport loving girl. A few months went by and in January 2021 we met for our first date at Caio Pasta in San Juan Capistrano where we shutdown the restaurant after a 4 hour date. Cut to a few family parties, fruity cocktails, Rocco date nights and Cabo trips, our love for one another grew each moment and adventure we shared together. On October 2nd...we mean September 23, 2022 (IYKYK), RJ got down on one knee and asked Kristine to marry her. Our prayers for a God loving, sport enthusiastic, kind hearted spouse were answered. We cannot wait to celebrate our love and adventures with our closest family and friends come May 2023.
