Fairfield Inn & Suites Fair Oaks Farms
PLEASE MAKE RESERVATIONS SOONER THAN LATER. There are 2 other weddings that weekend, so if you are thinking you need a room, book the room. This is the hotel that is connected to the reception space! We highly recommend staying here for convenience. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call the front desk and request to book for the "Neumeyer/Lipinski Wedding". The ceremony is about 40 minutes away from here so plan accordingly :)

There's More than Corn in Indiana!
Many of you might be wondering... "Why Indiana? I thought she was from Chicago?" While this is technically true Kristine is actually from a small farm town called Beecher, IL. Beecher is on the far southside of Chicago right on the Indiana state line. So much of Kristine’s life was spent in Indiana. The Neumeyer’s have been going on field trips to Fair Oaks since the kids were little and continued to visit as the small farm turned into a “tourist destination” over the years. Even as an adult, Kristine still loves to visit Fair Oaks Farms for the dairy tour, agriculture information and great farm to table food/ice cream! The Neumeyer’s highly recommend taking some time to book a tour, explore the property, and grab some ice cream while visiting for the event! The Crown Point Square in Crown Point Indiana is a great spot to spend a few hours! Take a walk around the historic courthouse, stop by some shops, grab a coffee and enjoy some food! Although we are in Indiana, the beach is not far away! If you want to stick your toes in some sand the Indiana Dunes are for you. These beaches and hiking sites are about 40 minutes from Fair Oaks and over look Lake Michigan. If you enjoy rollercoasters than you will be happy to hear that there is an amusement park about 40 minutes away from Fair Oaks! Indiana Beach Amusement and Water Park has been around since the 1920's and offers over 50 rides and attractions including a new roller coaster just added in 2024.

Midway International Airport
Midway airport is a one hour and twenty minute drive from the wedding venue! If your party is wanting to spend some time in Chicago before or after the wedding, this airport would be my first recommendation!

O' hare International Airport
O' hare is about a hour and a half drive to the wedding venue! If your party is interested in spending time in Chicago before or after the wedding this airport would be my second recommendation. The traffic going to and from O' hare will provide the true Chicago experience if you are interested ;)

Indianapolis International Airport
Indianapolis is about an one hour and thirty five minute drive to our wedding venue! If you are looking for a simple drive through the Indiana plains and a laid back airport experience, then I highly recommend this option!
Travel Note
Sweet Home Chicago
Kristine still claims to be from the Windy City and recommends visiting the city if flying into Midway or O' hare! If you love architecture, great pizza, river tours, beach fronts, structures shaped like a bean, sports, aquariums/zoos... the list goes on and on, please take some time to visit the city!
