Because it's San Diego, and it's summertime.... hotel blocks weren't an option. We are listing a few hotels that are within a five minute drive to the wedding venue location. We recommend picking an AirBNB or hotel located in Point Loma or Shelter Island, a neighborhood of Point Loma, which is actually not an island but is connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land. There is no need to get on a highway to get to the venue, and it is still a short drive to Downtown and many of the attractions in San Diego. Shelter Island has lovely walking paths, restaurants, and beautiful views of the San Diego Bay with the cityscape of San Diego Downtown as the backdrop.
