Sunriver

Sunriver is planned vacation community with a centrally located outdoor mall including shops, restaurants, and a large grocery store. The community is inter-connected via bike paths, which can be used to make a great trip to the Sunriver Brewpub or a longer excursion through the area to Fort Rock Park Playground, the Sunriver Nature Center, or trails along the Deschutes river. Bike rentals are available, but some rental homes may come with bikes available. Canoe/Kayak rentals are also available but the water will be cold!  Resort amenities exclusive to the Sunriver Resort including the spa, golf courses, swimming pool, hot tubs, stables, tennis and pickleball courts, and a bar and restaurants. Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory

The Nature Center is a great way to get familiar with Central Oregon's flora and fauna. Sunriver is a dark sky community, and the stars are gorgeous on a clear night.

High Desert Museum

One of the first museums Kristin ever went to, its boasts live animals, living history, play areas, natural history exhibits and more. It's a perfect place to spend the afternoon with family.

Mount Bachelor

30 minutes from Sunriver, Mt. Bachelor is open for downhill skiing typically through the end of May. It will likely be Spring skiing conditions, the snow will get mushy early in the afternoon so get there early to make the most of the day!

Bend

There is so much to do in Bend! There's hikes, breweries, distilleries, golf and disc golf courses, shopping in the Old Mill District and outlet mall, canoes for rent, and even a handful of wineries.

Deschutes Brewery Tasting Room

Bend is home to the famous Deschutes Brewing Company. The tasting room is open for a flight, a pint, or a tour.
