We're Getting Married!

After moving back to Connecticut and being persuaded by her friends, Kristin decided to give online dating a try. Little did she know, Nick was being persuaded by his brothers to also give it a try. Long story short and two swipes to the right later, Kristin and Nick were sharing a couple of drinks at Shelton's The Draft House (local dive bar) . After a few hours, they both knew the Summer of 2014 was going to be full of fun and adventure.

What was supposed to be a long fall weekend getaway to Stowe, Vermont turned into the first snowfall of the season! Kristin and Nick quickly made a decision (much to Nick's relief) to not cancel the trip and instead to drive up to Vermont a day early and beat the storm. The weekend began snowed in at the hotel next to a cozy fire, warm brunch, and friendly guests. When the storm finally ended, Kristin and Nick adventured out for the weekend trip they had planned. With trips to numerous breweries, the Cabot cheese factory, and Ben & Jerry's, it seemed as if they were going to eat and drink their way through their Vermont weekend. Once their stomachs were full, Nick suggested they take a hike to Moss Glenn Falls. Kristin could not figure out why Nick still wanted to go hiking even though snow blanketed the ground and the temperature had dropped, but she figured she could use the fresh air. After trekking up the snow covered mountain to catch a glimpse of the beautiful waterfall, Nick anxiously looked to see if anyone was around (not a soul in sight), got down on one knee, and proposed!
