When and where is the wedding?

What should I bring?

Sunglasses! And shoes that won't sink into the lawn.

Are you having an unplugged ceremony?
Answer
Yes. We'd love to see your faces during the ceremony, not your phones. Please put away all devices until after the ceremony. We promise to share pictures once our awesome photographers get them back to us.

Tell me about the food!

It's going to be awesome. And New England-y. And unique. That's all we can tell you as of now...but you won't be disappointed.

Where should I stay?

One of the more affordable options is the Homewood Suites, which is a 10-ish minute drive out of Newport. If you want to be in the center of the action, stay at the Pelham Court or rent an AirBnB.

Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We kindly request adults only at the welcome party, ceremony and reception.

Contact Jennifer at Newport Nannies: jennifer@newportnannies.com / (401) 270-7247 / http://newportnannies.com From Jennifer: "Each sitter on my staff is screened extensively and is an individual working in the childcare field as a teacher, daycare provider, baby-sitter, etc. Each sitter is certified in CPR + First Aid by the American Red Cross. I can put the parents in touch with the sitter assigned so that you can speak with them before the event to double check references or ask questions. The sitters bring along an assortment of books, crafts, crayons, coloring books, toys, movies, etc. to keep the kids busy and happy! There are no age limitations - we've cared for newborns, teenagers, and every age in between. Rates are $100 per child for 5 hours or less, and $25 per child for each hour after that.
