Kristin was born and raised in Mount Vernon, Washington. She spent time going to college in Bellingham, WA before eventually finishing Dental Hygiene school and settling down in Everett, WA. Gurjit was born and raised in Yuba City, CA. He recently completed his Registered Nurse program in Boise, ID and moved to Seattle, WA. Kristin and Gurjit matched on the dating app Hinge when he first moved to Seattle in the fall of 2021. He had just started his first job as a Registered Nurse in Capitol Hill, and it was busier than expected. They didn't end up going on their first date until April of 2022! For their first date, they went axe throwing. It was love at first throw! Even though Kristin kicked his butt in each round, he let it go and they have been inseparable ever since. Their travels have included going to Italy, France, Colorado, California and Hawaii (getting engaged in Maui), they have endured thousands of mosquito bites on backpacking trips together, and even survived the Road to Hana together. The journey of marriage is the next adventure!
