First of all, thank you SO much for going on this wild ride with us. We want to be as transparent with our guests as possible about what you can expect at our wedding so that you can make a decision you feel comfortable with! First thing to note- Our ceremony is outside and the entire reception is under an open-air pavilion. The only things you will go indoors for is to go through the buffet line and to use the restroom. Secondly, our venue is committed to following all CDC guidelines put into place at that time. We will not know fully what that entails until we're closer to the wedding. For our wedding date in June, they were requiring all tables 6ft apart and no more than 6 people per table. They were also requiring all wedding vendors to be wearing a mask the entire duration of the wedding. Next, the venue staff will be regularly sanitizing door handles and anything that is being touched throughout the night. They will also provide touchless sanitation stations. Lastly, at this point, I do not know if everyone will be required to wear a mask. Currently in Fort Worth, it is still required to wear a mask in public unless you are eating or drinking seated at a table. If you feel most comfortable wearing a mask, please do! I will be keeping this updated with more information as I get it!

Kristin was an indian and Daniel was an "Average Joe" from the movie Dodgeball. It was at the Davis' backyard Halloween party where they met for the first time, over a romantic game of corn hole. Although they initially met in October, it wasn't until a fateful brewery day with friends in March, that put things into motion. It's now an ongoing joke that Daniel actually had plans to play golf with friends, but when Tyler called Daniel to invite him to the brewery and told him Kristin would be there, he quickly cancelled on his golf buddies. It was during the brewery outing that Daniel worked up the courage to ask for Kristin's number and they went on their first official date on April 8, 2017.

We had planned a weekend getaway to Fredericksburg, TX. I (Kristin) didn't think anything about it as we normally visit Texas wine country a couple times a year. We started the day by making waffles and having mimosas at our Airbnb. Daniel wanted to get to our favorite winery, Becker Vineyards, right when it opened at 10 am. I just assumed it was to avoid the crowds. We got to the winery, did a tasting, and made our way to the patio to enjoy a bottle of wine. I always makes Daniel take pictures in the gorgeous flower fields at Becker so he suggested we go ahead and get that over with. As we were walking out to the flowers, Daniel started his proposal speech and ended up on one knee right in front of the flower fields. I was TOTALLY shocked and over-the-moon excited. Daniel had even hired a photographer to capture the entire moment! We spent the rest of the day celebrating at the wineries and telling everyone "WE JUST GOT ENGAGED." Best. Day. Ever.
