Lake Washington is so beautiful in the summer. Float, swim, walk, hangout, bike along Lake Washington Blvd. You'll be glad you did.

Mount Ranier is our local volcano. If you are in town for a few extra days, go! 
It is incredible.

Mount Rainier National Park

An incredibly beautiful (and huge!) Japanese Garden-- right in our neighborhood. Free!

Kubota Garden

This place is nuts-- but you can see fish throwing, get a GREAT lunch at Michou, and delightful deli snacks from Delaurenti. Tis also right next to the beautiful new Waterfront park and the Seattle Great Wheel on the water.

Pike Place Market

Excellent bar, small plates, and pizza. Order a Zaquiri in our honor-- it's where we got engaged! 
Other Beacon Hill culinary gems include: Homer, Oak, Tacos Chukis, Musang, Fresh Flours, Milk Drunk, and the Clock-Out Lounge-- all favorites!

Bar del Corso - Restaurant in Beacon Hill

Best wine and cocktail program in Seattle-- sit at the bar and enjoy their totally incredible food, too!

Other Capitol Hill culinary gems include: Artusi, Spinasse, BaBar, Bateau, Momiji, and Glo's-- all excellent!

L'Oursin - Restaurant in Capitol Hill

Great cocktails.... and gumbo, po-boys, and fried chicken. This place is awesome.

Jude's Old Town - Bar and Restaurant in Ranier Beach

One of our favorite Georgetown spot to feast. Yumyum.
Other great Georgetown spot include: Fonda la Catrina and Voi Ca Phe

What can we say? Strong drinks, dark bar, the best people. Our favorite bar in town.

9lb Hammer- Dive Bar in Georgetown

Bikers, beers, and the best sandwiches around. Seriously, this place is awesome.

Smarty Pants - Bar and Restaurant in Georgetown

Hard to describe the perfection of this place: several old train cars (including one of FDR's?!) plopped down in our industrial district... chinese food, karaoke, and a nice dark, cheap bar. *Chef's kiss*

Orient Express - Bar in SODO

This amazing place is more than 100 years old-- serving some of the best Japanese food and sushi in Seattle. Also, it's run by fabulous old ladies. Not to be missed!

Maneki - Restaurant in Chinatown

Totally unassuming... best breakfast sandwiches in Seattle... also rugelach, danish, empanadas, and the much sought after Tres Leches Croissant. Omg it's good.

Golden Wheat Bakery - in the Central District

Our neighborhood coffeshop! Such good coffee, breakfasts, baked goods, and people. Great back patio... perhaps you'll find us there in the mornings. Really, we adore this place and the community it supports.
