How's Traffic? Could Be Bad!

There will be considerable construction happening on some of our large roads and freeways this weekend. Please note that it may take longer than you think to get around town— particularly for those staying north of I-90!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the Steamplant by 5 PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The Steamplant is, well, a steamplant. Plan to look and feel FABULOUS. Take this as an excuse to wear that amazing thing you've never had a chance to show off! Costume changes encouraged-- be prepared to DANCE! It is mid-July, so it will be hot! You should bring swimwear to keep cool in Lake Washington during the weekend! Be prepared... and have shoes that are safe for industrial areas/stairs, grass, and gravel.

We will have a good spread to choose from, but please do let us know if you have an allergy or are gluten intolerant! You can email us at kristin.bleem@gmail.com when you RSVP to let us know. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking at and in the lot adjacent to the Steamplant. Look for signs!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Outside should be warm... inside the Steamplant stays nice and cool.

What is the weather like in Seattle in July?

Answer

It's lovely-- mid-70s and dry! (fingers crossed, of course)
