Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kristin Keene and Brian Link
For those of you not from the area, here are a couple of ideas for things to do when you aren't partying with us.
Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge

San Francisco, CA 94129

The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the one-mile-wide strait connecting San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. It serves as the iconic symbol of the "City by the Bay" and is one of the most visited attractions in San Francisco.

Muir Woods National Monument

Muir Woods National Monument

Mill Valley, CA 94941

Visit Muir Woods and see Marin's historic redwood tree forest. Please note that you MUST make a reservation in advance. Muir Woods is a 35 minute drive from Novato.

Lombard Street

Lombard Street

San Francisco, CA

Lombard Street in San Francisco is one of America’s crookedest streets and found on many tours. The steep, hilly street was created with sharp curves to switchback down the one-way hill past beautiful Victorian mansions.

Fisherman's Wharf

Fisherman's Wharf

San Francisco, CA

The Historic Fisherman's Wharf District of San Francisco is home to PIER 39, Ghirardelli Square, Anchorage Square, the National Maritime Museum, Historic Hyde Street Pier, breathtaking views and so much more.

Chinatown

Chinatown

San Francisco, CA

San Francisco's Chinatown is the oldest one in North America and covers 24 city blocks. This neighborhood is one of the most popular attractions in San Francisco, and for good reason. It's easy to spend a day here, exploring the streets and alleys, browsing the shops and enjoying the authentic Chinese food. More people visit Chinatown than the Golden Gate Bridge!

Alcatraz Island

Alcatraz Island

San Francisco, CA

In 1854, the West Coast’s first lighthouse was built on San Francisco Bay’s Alcatraz Island to guide the ships coming and going through the Golden Gate. It was quickly decided that the tiny island was also an ideal location for a federal penitentiary—so close and yet so far from bustling San Francisco. The island’s sheer cliffs were surrounded by perilous currents, extreme tides, and hypothermic water temperatures, so escape from this prison seemed impossible.

Union Square

Union Square

San Francisco, CA 94108

Union Square is a 2.6-acre public plaza bordered by Geary, Powell, Post and Stockton Streets in downtown San Francisco, California. This one-block plaza and surrounding area is one of the largest collections of department stores, upscale boutiques, gift shops, art galleries, and beauty salons in the United States.

Ghirardelli Square

Ghirardelli Square

900 North Point Street, San Francisco, CA 94109

With shops, wineries and award-winning restaurants, Ghirardelli Square is the premier San Francisco destination. Enjoy spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz, landscaped gardens, one-of-a-kind shopping and, of course famous Ghirardelli Chocolate.
