Ecclesiastes 3:1 – For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. It’s been a long 37 years waiting for each other, and while we don’t always understand His timing, we are so thankful to finally be writing the story of our happily ever after. We met at work in 2007 and worked on projects together over the years. (Kristin) I always had a soft spot for Brian. He was THAT guy; you know, the one that everyone liked, the guy that all the girls swooned over. Yet at the same time, he was always so humble and was truly oblivious to the attention he attracted. Unfortunately, our timing was just never right. It took over 11 years of us knowing each other to finally be in the same place, at the same time. It was definitely worth the wait. He immediately had my heart. I worried that Olivia would struggle with someone new in our lives, but she has come to love him just as much as I do. (Brian) Little did I know at the time, but Kristin and I could have been dating back in high school. My family and I moved to San Antonio in 1998 and Kristin and I attended Churchill High School together although a grade apart. We didn’t actually meet until fate brought us together working for the same company. She captured my attention immediately with her beauty and kindness. We didn’t have a chance to explore the possibility of dating as I moved across the country for a work assignment. After a long 5 years apart, fate stepped in once again and brought me back to San Antonio and back to Kristin. She has proven to be a blessing from God and the answer to a long awaited prayer. Finding the right person to spend your life with is definitely worth the wait!
