Maid of Honor
Kristin and Julie met in 2011 in their beloved, old condo building, The Ovation. Julie was always making jokes, so friendly and a barrel of laughs. Coincidentally, she shares Kristin’s love of wine, however not the hangovers. She's been Kristin's best friend through many life stages and from exchanging dating stories into lifelong commitment, always with a smile on her face.
Best Man
Billy and Brian quickly became friends in high school when Brian stabbed Billy in the chest with a pencil. A year after Billy moved to Los Angeles, Brian moved down from the Bay Area. The two explored LA together, seeking out the best burrito and growing their close circle of friends. They were roommates for 10 years, traveling TV producers for 2 years and 25 years of friendship!
Bridesmaid
Kristin and Jaime met through a female social group, Atlanta Social Club. They were both looking to make lifelong friends and immediately hit it off at an Atlanta Social Club Derby party. They've been friends ever since that day and have enjoyed going to events, seeing live music, travelling including a trip to Savannah or just kicking it over some wine and good chats and laughs.
Groomsman
Billy and Jon became friends at UCLA through a mutual friend. Their friendship grew when the two went on a college graduation trip together through Europe. Some of Billy’s fondest memories over the years are of having sunset beers with Jon in Venice Beach. Funny enough, this place was two doors down from where Kristin and Billy had their first date. Jon and Billy also share a love of Mezcal and have an ongoing pool tournament -Billy is embarrassed to say the score at this point.
Bridesmaid
Kristin and Cydnee were sorority sisters in college. They always connected over the ridiculous antics of the sorority life but were glad that it enabled them to become life-long friends. Kristin has always admired Cydnee’s intelligence, wit and loyalty. They lived together in NYC and even to this day, every call or meeting is like no time or distance has kept them apart.
Groomsman
Billy and Rob have been close friends for over ten years. These two had spent many happy hours together at the Brentwood bars and have attended even more concerts together, including multiple trips to Coachella. Billy actually had Kristin’s engagement ring shipped to Rob’s place down the street from them, which turned into quite a stressful day… a story best told over a cold one.
Bridesmaid
Kristin and Courtney were also sorority sisters in college. They seemed to be the only ones who actually took advantage of the Sunday dining hall buffet post a night of drinking and felt that it was their little secret. They lived together for several years in college and Kristin will never forget the “wars” against the boys next door. Did someone say venison…
Groomsman
Brian is Billy’s oldest friend. Billy and Brian have known each other since kindergarten. They became close friends in 7th grade and have been close ever since. Oddly enough, their high school dean used to mix the two of them up. Billy and Brian have shared many years of seeing movies, comedy shows and concerts together. Brian agreed to be a groomsman only if he didn’t have to give a speech. We’ll just see about that...
Bridesmaid
Lauren is Kristin’s sister-in-law and an angel to be married to her brother. Kidding kidding. But she never ceases to amaze Kristin in demonstrating her never-ending patience and compassion, not to mention her creativity and determination in always surprising the family with the most scrumptious appetizers and desserts.
Groomsman
For over two years and many trips to Atlanta, Billy and Kristin’s brother, Kris, have become good friends. With lots of grilling, good wine and an ongoing pool tournament, the two’s bond has grown. Many laughs have been shared with Billy, Kris and his family. Billy knew he had Kris’s seal of approval when he told Billy and his family that Billy had lasted longer than any of Kristin’s other boyfriends and he liked Billy the most.
