Justin Brunnler

Man of Honor

Justin is my one and only sibling. Growing up we were not as close, as he is eight years older than I am. Despite our age difference he has always made an effort to be apart of my life and has always been there for me. Over the years we've grown closer and I've realized we actually have a lot of shared interests - like nature, music, and alien conspiracy theories! I make fun of Justin a lot, probably because I am a bit jealous. Justin is outgoing, level-headed, confident, and unafraid to take risks. He also works in TV/Film and gets to travel the world. I consider Justin a close friend I rely on and cherish, along with his wife Cam. They're both way cooler than me and I will admit here (and only here) that I look up to them both.

Dewa Karzi

Bridesmaid

Dewa and I have known one another for over 18 years. She is in fact the very first friend I ever made when I moved from Iowa to California at age 13. Our friendship however, did not grow stronger until after college when we bonded in many unexpected ways. Dewa is kind, friendly, bubbly, outgoing, inquisitive, and always puts others before herself. She is also an amazing 1st grade teacher - go figure! Through the worst of times, she has been my rock and always kept it real with me. Dewa and her mom have always made me feel like I had a home when my parents were thousands of miles away. I can't think of anyone else I'd rather have by my side on my wedding day.

Alejandra Torres

Bridesmaid

I don't have a sister, but I imagine my relationship with Ale is what having a sister would be like. Sometimes she drives me a little crazy (lol), but I also don't know who else I have the most fun with. We bond over shared interests like EDM music, Bravo TV shows, and c-list celebrities. She is funny, witty, clever, intelligent, and has a great sense of style. I admire her work ethic and the determination she has in all aspects of life. Alejandra always wants the very best for not only me, but herself, her friends, her employees (lol), and her family - which goes to show how much she cares.

Stephanie Munoz

Bridesmaid

I met Stephanie at UC Riverside, however we did not grow closer until after college when I moved to Los Angeles. Born and raised in LA (Lynwood), Stephanie is a true Angelino. She has showed me where the best concert venues, restaurants, and hikes are. I realized as we grew closer that we have a lot of shared interests and commonalities like being vegetarian Capricorns that enjoy 80s alt bands and dive bars! Steph is adventurous, empathetic, kind, and truly has a heart of gold. She is sensible, but at the same time open minded, which is why I ask her for advice so often. I am grateful I've gotten to know her better in recent years. Now I don't know what I do without her.

Amul Bham

Best Man

Amul was once truly a pain in my ass. As a younger brother, it was his job I suppose but he truly put in 110% when we were kids. Thankfully, once we grew into our 20s, we've grown so much closer with Amul becoming my closest confidant. We do still argue but there's a mutual respect now when we discuss anything, even if the other person is wrong. Whether we are discussing sports, the newest video games we're playing or what's going on with our lives, I can count on my brother to always be an ear to listen to me, judgement free. He's intelligent but also creative, often times coming to solutions I would never consider. In a weird way, despite being my younger brother, I find myself looking up to the person he is and am so proud of how he's found success in life through unconventional ways. I can't wait for him to stand up there by my side.

Daryl Alfaro

Groomsman

Daryl and I met in 7th grade, walking the same path home from school every day until we became friends. As the years went, we became closer until he became my best friend. Whenever I needed someone to talk to, Daryl was always there, even if it's something I've brought up 50 times prior. And through that, I could always count on him being honest with me, even if it was something I wasn't going to like to hear. He was also the first person I would confide in including being the first person I told I wanted to marry Kristina. He also has a love for all kinds of music, often times leading me to discover a new song I would never have heard otherwise. Anyways, Daryl is an amazing friend whose someone I don't think I could have come this far without in life.

Jai Syal

Groomsman

Jai and I go far back as our dads grew up together in India. Through their friendship was how Jai and I met. Our families are so close that we refer to each other as "cousins" despite having zero familial relationship. When we were younger, we'd often times stay up till 3 in the morning playing Halo and then wake up the next day and play basketball for hours. Being the same age, I always felt we kind of pushed each other on and off the court, trying to get the upper hand on one another. The thing I admired about Jai through the years is how level headed he was and how in control it seemed he was of his life. He always played basketball with a steady hand and always seemed to be thinking steps ahead about what he was doing with his life, seemingly doing the right thing always. He also is one of the few people in my life who always checks in on me, just to see how life is and makes a concerted effort to spend time together and hang out. His friendship is one that means a lot to me and I'm glad to know he'll be up there with me on our big day.

Marc Walton

Groomsman

Marc and I met in high school playing on the Corona High basketball team. He was a year older than me so we weren't very close during that time but we grew a lot closer in college when we both attended UCR. We started to take some classes together which is when we started hanging out more, talking about TV shows like Lost or getting together to study. That time helped us become good friends and after college, we continued to hang out, hitting the bars or watching movies our girlfriends/wives would never want to watch. Through it all we became a lot closer and talked more about life and aspirations. I could always count on Marc to keep it real with me. He's never been afraid to tell me how he feels, no matter how much we disagree with one another and he's the one friend I feel pushes me to make positive changes in my life when I'm unhappy about something. I can always count on him to be there for me, even if it's just to catch a movie Kristina refuses to watch or watch some football.
