On a cold January night in 2016, Kristina and her friends planned to go ice skating, which happened to be sold out upon arrival. Instead, Kristina and her group of friends decided to have some drinks at a local hotspot, Dominic's Tavern, where Ryan was hanging out with his friends. Eventually, Ryan came over to greet their two mutual friends and they were introduced. Ryan talked Kristina's ear off about sports and country music and somehow did not scare her away. Ryan was planning his proposal to Kristina for a while. He had planned to propose at Longwood Gardens in April 2020. However, COVID had other plans. Unfortunately, Longwood was closed on the planned day and Kristina and Ryan were quarantined from each other as she worked in a hospital with COVID patients. Instead, Ryan planned a housewarming/4th of July party at their new home with their closest friends and family where he officially popped the question. Over the last 6 years, Kristina and Ryan have made many wonderful memories together. They love going on date nights, binging Netflix shows, spending time with their friends and family, cooking new recipes together, and making their house a home. They even endured graduate school together where Kristina lived an hour away and Ryan would drive to see her almost every weekend. One of their favorite things to do is travel from their first trip to Disney World in 2016, to their first international trip to the Bahamas on Ryan's first ever cruise, to their most recent vacation to New England in 2021. Kristina and Ryan are so excited to celebrate their marriage with all of you down the shore where both of their families took them growing up. They both love the beach but not just during the summer, but also during the Fall when you can stroll along the beach in your hoodie and enjoy the sunset. They thought it was the most fitting location for their wedding to be close to a place so near to their hearts with the most important people in their lives.
