Travel Tips from United States to Italy

Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) to Naples International Airport (NAP). This route can sometimes involve one or more connecting flights in Europe. Common layover airports include Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), Frankfurt Airport (FRA), Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), London Heathrow Airport (LHR), or Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO). We suggest flying into Naples International Airport as that is the most efficient way to get to our destination. Our venue is 2 hours south of Naples. Once you arrive at Naples International Airport, you will clear immigration and customs. From Naples Airport, you have a few options to get to Sapri (the closest city you can get to by train) and then to Villammare: Taxi, Shuttle or Private Transfer: Taxis are readily available at the airport, or you can pre-book a shuttle service. Train (we recommend!): From Napoli Centrale train station, take a train to Sapri. Trains run regularly, and the journey typically takes 1 hour and 50 minutes. You can check the train schedules and purchase tickets at the station or online through the website linked below. When you arrive in Sapri, you will then take a taxi to Villammare (depending where you are staying, the taxi ride should take around 10-20 minutes). We recommend taking the train as it is the most affordable + a beautiful ride down the Amalfi Coast! Le Ruve Bianche Address: Via del Mare, 21, 84079 Villammare SA, Italy The website linked below will be a great resource for finding transportation routes (from anywhere) and tickets in Italy. For destination, you will want to type in "Sapri." Click here!
