Try to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony time. The venue is somewhat remote and you'll need to drive on dirt/gravel roads to get there. Some people may have difficulty finding the venue. Additionally, there is a 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot to the ceremony. Please allow yourself extra time!
Dress attire is a "smart casual" vibe. Think somewhere between formal and casual (not too dressy but not too casual). We recommend a dress, smart trousers or a skirt for women and dark denim, chinos or suit paints with a neat shirt for men. Keep in mind weather in Oregon can be very unpredictable and it can get cool once the sun goes down in the Columbia River Gorge, so bring layers!
The majority of the venue is grass, so I would steer clear of stilettos!
If your invitation states "and guest" we would love to have your date join the celebration. Otherwise, we would prefer if it was just you.
Unless noted on your invitation, we would prefer not! Plus, you deserve a night out without the kids :)
Absolutely! There is plenty of parking at the ceremony site.
If there is a severe food allergy, please contact either the bride or groom ASAP! The dinner will be buffet style with plenty of options to accommodate any dietary restrictions or food allergies.
We respectfully ask that you don't take photos during and immediately after the ceremony. Other than that, please feel free to take photos and use the hashtag #weregettingparryed !!
As we all adapt to an uncertain time with COVID-19 (coronavirus), we are monitoring the news carefully. We are prepared to take every precaution necessary to make our wedding safe for our guests. Our wedding is happening as planned, and we look forward to celebrating with you all on September 4, 2021 in Oregon! At this point, we've been advised that a September wedding should be safe. Please RSVP and book your accommodations as you normally would, but check first for a lenient cancellation policy, which most hotels and airlines are happy to provide in light of current events. That being said, the safety of our guests is our utmost priority. Please check our website and national and local public health websites regularly for updates. Please contact us directly with any questions! Thank you for your love, patience, and concern.
