The sister and bestie! Where do we begin? Ever since Kristie can remember, the two were inseparable. From 90's quality home-made videos and late night karaoke, to Stephanie throwing Kristie surprise parties. Kristie was maid of honor for Stephanie's wedding and Stephanie has been Kristie's "unofficial" maid of honor long before Kristie made it official. (Especially because Kristie caught THE bouquet at her wedding and Stephanie couldn't help but anticipate another wedding!) Aside from that, Stephanie is the BEST planner Kristie knows. She doesn’t know what she’d do without all of Stephanie’s wedding planning expertise! Easy to say that this pair is attached at the hip and age won't ever change that.

Scott Machart

The Soon to be Brother-in-Law Drake and Scott like to think the same, so much so that it is sometimes scary. Scott and Drake met through Kristie's sister Stephanie, and they instantly clicked. Although separated in age by nearly a decade and though they have known each other almost 5 years, it feels like a lifetime. They are both food enthusiasts who love to cook as much as they love to eat. They also share a "can-do" attitude and aren't afraid to use sources like Youtube to learn new tricks & get things done around the house. Aside from their commonalities, Scott & Steph made Drake a proud uncle twice and a godfather. To top it off, Drake was the best man in Scott's wedding and the favor has officially been returned!

Kristie's cool oldest sister and the sibling trailblazer! Kristie and Michelle both share a love for psychology and they both understand why crazy people are, well, crazy. This shared understanding bonds them on a deeper level! Kristie can't help but think Michelle's stories as a therapist make her a B.A. Also, it's safe to say Michelle made it a tiny bit easier on the rest of the siblings being the first child and the others will forever be grateful for that!

The Soon to be Official Brother-in-Law / Unofficial Big-brother Good positive energy radiates off this gentleman & it’s always greatly appreciated by Drake. M&D love their Chicago sports teams- although, Drake would say Mike’s obsession is borderline sick. However, they weren’t always spectators- they love to reminisce on their old football days. Drake stood up in Mike & Michelle's wedding & now Mike is returning the favor. Mike is chill, smiley & easy going- but equally passionate and extremely thoughtful (which always calls for a good conversation). Mike’s appreciation for comedy & entertainment works perfectly with Drakes' need to laugh & enjoy life. Lets not forget that Mike is always game for a quality turn up- when he’s got a sitter of course.

Kristie's cool baby sister! Kristie love's her little sister's super cool, care-free attitude. Except for when this care-free attitude caused Alyssa to steal Kristie's clothes for years. Once they got older, the roles were reversed and all was forgiven from both parties! Kristie can’t help but admire Alyssa’s fun energy and they always have the best time together (especially jamming out at Maroon 5 concerts!). It’s hard to deny that being the baby of the family, she was the sibling who got away with the most- which irritated the others. But regardless, this one is very much loved by all!

Drake's Little Brother (AKA 64) Although Mitch is only just a sophomore at DGS, age is proven to just be a number for these two. Every time they're together, they can't help but participate in activities that might make any mom a bit fearful. From climbing up building-high trees, to longboarding the steepest slope, to doing wheelies on their mini bikes, these two share a love for thrilling adventure and the brother resemblance is real.

The soon to be sister-in-law! Selia is Drake's super talented, brave, and hard-working baby sister. Selia loves to point out that Kristie doesn't eat meat and thinks it's rather funny, however; the two share a love for good music. Their favorite thing to bond over is creating videos for all the latest Tik Tok trends.

The 8th Grade Bestie The story of how these two met is one that could be made into a lifetime movie. Circa 2007, these two happened to be playing football on the same field but on separate teams. Terrance forgot his spikes and it just so happened that Drake was ready with a spare pair. Some might say its coincidental, others may call it fate. Whatever it was, these two are still besties for life. They both love football, traveling, good food, cold beer (and their super cool fiancés). T was the kid all the parent's loved and it's easy to see why. Terrance has Drake's back, and Terrance knows Drake always has his.

Deirdre Harty

The High School Bestie + College Roomie Kristie and Deirdre ran with different cliques in middle school but high school cheerleading brought these two together. Their shared love for the Jonas Brothers and High School Musical really sealed the deal on their friendship back in 09'. The two eventually turned into college roomies freshman year and Kristie learned to accept all of Deirdre, even the mountain-high pile of clothes on their dorm room floor. It was a combination of dollar bottles at Rookies and late night Celine Dion/ Bohemian Rhapsody sing-alongs that made up for it all! The two will always be like sisters!

The Childhood Friend Peter and Drake were both the new kids back in Hickory Hills and they both knew how to not take anything from anyone. Back in middle school intramural floor hockey, these two made up the defense that were nearly impossible to score on. They have always been similar in many ways. They love a quality hand made pizza, music festivals, good vibes, and sports. Some may even say they kind of look alike. Although these two don't see each other as much as they used to and as much as they'd like, it's like no years have passed whenever they get together.

Vanessa Abraham

The High School Bestie Freshman year cheerleading brought these two together and they've been inseparable ever since. Kristie was drawn to Vanessa's familiar sense of humor and similar interests/ outlook on life. From vacations in Vegas or Texas, to brunches in the city, to living their best lives wherever they go, V & K have very similar favorite past times which just makes their relationship that much stronger! Vanessa may not be able to hang like Kristie can (V falls asleep at 10pm), but they will be high school + forever besties for life.

(Kray-sho) The Waterpolo Teammate Kreso didn't come into the picture until freshman year water polo season, but it's probably accurate to say these two were still kids when they met. The immature, yet life-loving-yolo like spirit comes out when these two are together. Kreso is a real adventure-man, he introduced Drake to some noteworthy hobbies that are still enjoyed to this day- mountain biking and longboarding. For a fair warning, this man will shout when he gets excited and he tends to be the loudest (and most passionate) in the room. Nonetheless, his excitement is one that is contagious, which why it's always a good time with Kreso. Whether just chillen' in the garage, raging in Indiana campgrounds, or doing California things in Venice beach, they always have a great time together.

The College Roomie! Kristie met Katie while away at St. Ambrose freshman year of college. The two quickly became friends then roomies and it's safe to say, Kristie and Katie have seen each other at their most fun, yet weirdest selves. From 4am study sessions and boughts of sleep paralysis, to fake modeling sessions using a macbook and convincing strangers they "weren't from here" by testing out different accents for a night. Kristie and Katie spend loads of time laughing when they’re together. You could say that these two are the epitome of what happens when two people spend A LOT of time together. Nonetheless, Kristie wouldn't change their goofy friendship for the world!

The Childhood Friend It’s easy to see why these two have gotten along so well over the years. Their competitive nature and love for games has stayed consistent throughout their friendship. They became close at around 9 years old and spent countless hours playing backyard sports of all sorts. This eventually turned into 5 am water polo practices in Staggs cold deep-end. Nowadays, they spend nights playing darts and pong til 4 am. These two will be friends till they're in rocking chairs comparing who can rock faster.

The sorority sista! The first week after Kristie transferred to UIC, she met Rafat one night while exploring the city. Rafat immediately took Kristie under her wing and showed her the ropes of the city and the school! Rafat became Kristie's “big” in the sorority and this duo had way too much fun whenever they were together. Rafat was always there for Kristie and she couldn’t help but appreciate that! From Thirsty Thursdays at 10 doors to late nights at Underground, it's safe to say Kristie's UIC experience wouldn't have been the same without Rafat! Whenever Kristie & Rafat are together, you know a great time is right around the corner!
