Groomsman
It all started when Dan was 10, had just moved from England and his mom found out there was "another British family" that lived kitty corner to them. The Nock's and Hayward's, with the rest of their families living over seas, found enjoyment in each other's company. Spending Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Birthdays and other holidays together slowly became ongoing traditions. Throughout Dan's elementary and middle school years, Dan and Sean were inseparable, as he became like a younger brother to Dan. As they both grew up, it became more difficult to find time to see each other, but managed to continue other traditions like going to ribfest with the dads over fourth of July. Sean currently lives in Chicago, but is moving to Florida with his girlfriend at the beginning of June.

While Kristie admits getting a dog while you're in Graduate School isn't necessarily the best idea, she wouldn't trade Chloe for anything. Chloe was with Kristie during some of her worst times in her 20's and some of her best (insert meeting and falling in love with Dan). She is truly a member of the family and Kristie's first "baby".
Best Dog
After a long bass lake weekend, and continuing it watching the England national team play in the Euro Tournament, what better way to forget about England's abysmal play/result, than to get a dog. Enter Rizzo. The playful, energetic pure-bred German Shepherd didn't help serve her initial purpose, which was to have Dan save money, but has done so much more. Always there to put a smile on Dan's face after a long day of work, provide an initial connection Dan and Kristie had (as both owned dogs), and destroy a few furniture items, Rizzo has completed the mini, pre-family Dan and Kristie have started to form.
