What's the dress code?

Answer

Beach casual. Be comfortable. Summer dresses, khakis and polos. Shoes optional.

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are small hotels and inns nearby in Port St. Joe. See Travel Tips page for more info. There are more choices in Panama City, about an hour from Cape San Blas.

Question

What should I expect at the reception? Is this a formal sit-down dinner?

Answer

The reception is at the beach house, 30 steps from the beach. There will be a first dance for the bride and groom and cocktails and barbecue for the guests to share. Everyone should expect to relax and have a good time.

What if it rains on the day of the wedding?

Answer

Mother Nature is unpredictable. If there is light rain or wind, we will go forward as planned and have the wedding on the beach. No one will forget watching these two people declare their love in the rain. Bring an umbrella, just in case! In the event of a complete washout, the wedding will be held at the beach house.
