Campus No. 805
From our landmark location in the heart of the city, Campus No. 805 has become the connecting point for the resurging West Huntsville neighborhoods and the treasured historic districts and the hundreds of exciting new loft residences in downtown. Newly transformed as the Stone Event Center, the refurbished school building offers a variety of multi-use space for private rental and has become a popular event venue for young professionals and the hospitality industry. The Stone Center building and the new 16,000 square foot Student Union has attracted a growing list of tenants to include craft breweries, restaurants, catering, bars, retail and entertainment venues. We are proud to be part of the exciting rebirth of Huntsville’s urban core.
Stovehouse
Built on the bones of the century-old Martin Stove Factory that was once all work and no play, the reimagined Stovehouse is Huntsville’s premier destination for eats, drinks, shopping, and leisure. Stovehouse features 6+ restaurants that can please any food pallet! Stovehouse features multiple stages for live music, an exciting event center, a diverse selection of eats and treats, and Gas Light Alley, an eclectic venue for retail shopping.
Straight to Ale
Straight to Ale uses bold flavors and innovative brewing techniques to enrich our community, build long-lasting friendships, and of course, make great beer. Founded by local home brewers in 2009, Straight to Ale has quickly grown to become one of Alabama’s largest production breweries. Straight To Ale has gained regional and national attention within the craft beer community. In the summer of 2016 we opened our new 45,000 square foot facility at Campus 805. At this location, we expanded to include cider and mead production along with Shelta Cavern Spirits, and Ale's Kitchen, a scratch made kitchen. We are Southern Born, Southern Brewed!
Big Spring Park
More than 200 years ago, future U.S. Senator John Williams Walker remarked that “Huntsville is situated around the finest spring in the world,” and two centuries later, it’s still true. Huntsville’s Big Spring Park is located at the heart of the city, just off the courthouse square, and will always be near and dear to the hearts of Huntsvillians.
U.S. Space & Rocket Center
Home to Space Camp®, Aviation Challenge® Camp, Space Camp Robotics, and U.S. Cyber Camp the U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) is the most comprehensive U.S. manned spaceflight hardware museum in the world. Its large rocket and space hardware collection is valued in the tens of millions of dollars. From America’s first satellite, Explorer I, to next generation space vehicles like Sierra Nevada’s Dream Chaser, the museum showcases the past, present and future of human spaceflight. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center serves as the Official NASA Visitor Center for Marshall Space Flight Center and is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution. A MUST see!
Huntsville Botanical Garden
The Huntsville Botanical Garden is a 118 acres botanical garden located at 4747 Bob Wallace Avenue, Huntsville, Alabama, near the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. It is open year-round for a fee. The garden is ranked third on the list of Alabama's top paid tourist attractions, receiving 353,841 visitors in 2018.
U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum
Located in Huntsville Alabama, this is one of the premier military museums in the country. The exhibits of memorabilia, artifacts, and military equipment range from the American Revolutionary War to present day. Included in the collection are many rare and important artifacts including the oldest surviving jeep: the Ford Pygmy.
Monte Sano State Park
Monte Sano State Park is located near Huntsville in northeast Alabama. In Spanish, Monte Sano means “Mountain of Health.” In the late 1800s, visitors from across the United States came for “the season” to experience and enjoy Monte Sano’s fresh air, spectacular views and mineral springs.
