What should I wear to the wedding ceremony & reception?

Answer

Cocktail or formal attire. The wedding ceremony will take place on uneven, grassy ground (in case this impacts your shoe choices).

Was the original wedding venue affected by the hurricanes?

Answer

Yes. The Bellwether Beach Resort is closed until further notice. Our new wedding venue is Innisbrook Golf Resort. For reservation assistance if you had already reserved a room at the Bellwether, please reach out to them directly at reservations@bellwetherbeachresort.com.

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

To protect little eyes and ears and to allow all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and enjoy themselves, we’ve elected to make our wedding cocktail hour and reception a child-free event. On-site babysitting will be provided by professional nannies from Nannies Who Care during the cocktail hour & reception (4-10:30 pm). The babysitting will be in the same building as the Stirling ballroom but in a separate room. This will allow you to easily visit your little one throughout the event while also allowing you to enjoy your adult time. The children will enjoy crafts, a meal (chicken tenders & macaroni & cheese) and possibly watching a movie.

Where do we park?

Answer

Free parking on site for all wedding guests. There is parking near the Island Clubhouse at Island Course which is where the wedding ceremony will be taking place. There is parking near the Stirling Ballroom, the site of the wedding reception. There is a shuttle that operates on the Innisbrook resort campus, and you are welcome to take this between the ballroom and your room if staying on the property.

Where/when is the wedding?

The wedding will now be taking place at Innisbrook Golf Resort. https://www.innisbrookgolfresort.com Our new venue is Innisbrook Golf Resort. Ceremony: 4:15 PM at the big oak tree at Island Course (weather permitting). You may come early to the pub inside Island Clubhouse & enjoy a drink (at your own expense). You can park near Island Clubhouse. Cocktail hour: 5-6:30 PM outside/inside Stirling Hall. A shuttle will be available to transport guests throughout the property during the duration of the event. You may also park near Stirling Hall. Reception: 6:30 - 10:30 PM. Dinner & dancing inside Stirling Hall Ballroom.

Can we show up early the day of the wedding?

Answer

If you arrive before the wedding, there are several places to eat on the Innisbrook Property. There is a pub inside the Island Clubhouse immediately next to the oak tree at the Island Course where you can purchase drinks or food prior to the wedding if you would like.

We're staying on the property. Room check-in isn't until 4 PM, but the wedding ceremony is at 4:15. Can we check-in early?

Answer

Since the wedding ceremony starts at 4:15 PM, we asked about an early check-in the day of the wedding, and this was their response: “We cannot guarantee an early check in on their day of arrival, it is based on availability at the time of arrival. We do our best to try to get guests in early if we can, but, again it’s dependent on our occupancy the night before.”
