Well, we didn't think we'd get legally married in our living room, but here we are! On a more serious note, we've decided to significantly reduce the guest list count for our wedding. While we wish everyone could be there to celebrate with us, we're doing what we can to keep our loved ones safe, and abide by CDC guidelines. The wedding and reception will take place OUTDOORS. We will have wristbands available to indicate everyone's personal comfort level, and encourage mask wearing
Technically speaking, yes we did! We legally tied the knot on May 8, 2020 in our living room. A few friends and immediate family join us on a zoom call, Kristen baked a chocolate cake, it was a whole thing. But we cannot wait to finally CELEBRATE our marriage with everyone on our one year anniversary!
We have taken the liberty of blocking off rooms at the Heritage Hill Golf Resort for every guest/couple invited to the wedding. Upon RSVP'ing, please call the hotel and switch the reservation and method of payment to your name! You're not required to pay anything until check-in. If you'd prefer to make your own accommodations, simply let us know and we will remove the room from the room block!
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get things started as scheduled! There will be plenty of lawn games to keep you entertained! Pro tip: let the shuttles do the planning for you! They will be provided to and from the venue.
A shuttle service will be available from Hampton Inn to the venue Parking is available and guests are welcome to leave their car over night if needed Uber and Lyft are also an option
TO THE VENUE: Two shuttles will be provided from Heritage Hills to the venue: First Shuttle: 2:00pm Second Shuttle: 2:40pm Each shuttle can fit 40 people, so guests are encouraged to be ready to take the first shuttle FROM THE VENUE: First Shuttle: Departs 9:30pm to Heritage Hills Second Shuttle: Departs 10:10pm to Heritage Hills Golf Resort
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. The reception will be in a covered tent. In the event of rain, the ceremony will take place in the greenhouse
Dress code for the Wedding is semi-formal or formal. Ladies, think anything from cocktail to floor length dresses, and pants suits. And guys, think sports jacket or suit and tie. Also, please note we'll be on the lawn for the ceremony and parts of the cocktail hour. Choose your shoes accordingly!
Yes! Dinner is buffet style and plated vegan dishes are available upon request. Please let us know of any allergies or food restrictions on your RSVP.
While we would love to provide a plus one for all guests, we've needed to make some tough choices regarding the guest list. If your "Change The Date" indicates you have a plus one, then yes, please bring whomever you'd like! If it's just your name, we ask that you do not bring a guest.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
