FAQs

We've planned our wedding with COVID regulations and safety top of mind. That being said, it will still be a large gathering. Therefore, we want to give you as much information as possible so that you can make an informed decision on your attendance. We completely respect everyone's right and decision to do what they feel comfortable doing - no hard feelings if you decide to sit this one out :). If you have a question that is not answered below, feel free to call us 203-556-7434 (Kris) or 203-556-4289 (Rod).
Question

How many people will be there?

Answer

We expect at least 125 human guests (not including staff - band, cooks, bartenders, waitstaff, etc), plus one canine.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the entire wedding will be held outdoors.

Question

But won't I have to go inside to use the bathroom?

Answer

No, we have rented outdoor bathroom facilities.

Question

How will you ensure food and drink safety?

Answer

Per the state of Connecticut regulations, all service staff are required to wear masks. Staff will serve the food to avoid high-touch surface areas and objects. The hand sanitizer will flow like the Niagara Falls.

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course, just let us know! We've built the menu in a way that there should be enough variety to meet everyone's needs. Everything will be peanut free.

Question

Can we bring the kids?

Answer

With respect, we wish for our special day to be an adults-only occasion.

Question

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

Currently in Connecticut, masks are required to be worn in public when a six-foot distance is unavoidable. However, this is a private event and Governor Lamont has announced plans to eliminate the outdoor mask requirement on May 19, 2021. The CDC also just announced that anyone who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities, large or small, without wearing a mask or physical distancing - so go get that vaccine if you haven't yet!! Long story short, you are not required to wear a mask, but if you want to, go for it!
