Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Dulles is 60 miles from the wedding venue, or about 1 hour without traffic. This is the closest major airport and the best choice for those flying in and out just for the wedding weekend with plenty of flight options. Uber/Lyft is also a viable option from this airport to the venue.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

National Airport is about 80 miles from the wedding venue in Winchester, or 1 hour 30 minutes without traffic. This airport lands you in D.C. and would be a great choice for those flying in a few days early and wanting to check out what D.C. has to offer! The D.C. Metro is reliable, easy to navigate and can get you directly from the airport out to Northern Virginia, though after western-most stop you would need a car the remainder of the way. Local carpools and Uber/Lyft can accomplish this if you both want to sightsee and prefer not to rent a car.

Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI)

About 100 miles or 1 hour 45 minutes from the venue. This is a good option for those wanting more flight time options/flexibility through a large airport but will definitely require a car to get to Winchester (and count on some traffic).

Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO)

Charlottesville Airport is about 100 miles or 2 hours from the venue. It is a much smaller airport than the others, and a good option for those who want to take a nice scenic drive! This route will take you through the Shenandoah Valley and near Kristen's small college town. This is a good option for anyone with some extra time to rent a car and who wants to avoid big city traffic.

This is a great budget-friendly option, and an easy 7 minute drive from the venue. The surrounding area is more of a business district with grocery stores and restaurants; not quite walkable but with all the necessities. It is less than a 10 minute drive to the historic downtown and walkable area.
