Things To Do

Washington

Washington, DC

You can't get bored in D.C.! Something for everyone and worth spending several days there; endless tours, museums, monuments and food. There are tons of free + walking options to check out for the history lovers. Feel free to reach out to Kristen (aka her dad and uncles) for recommendations on your tourist weekend.

Winchester

VA

A cute small town about an hour away from where the bride grew up. Close to the venue and there are plenty of little shops/restaurants to keep you busy for an afternoon.

Shenandoah National Park

VA

About 25 miles from the venue and a beautiful day trip! You can do a drive through a lot of areas with lookout points, or visit some hiking trails. A great option for those wanting to explore some nature + scenic views! If this is your jam, consider Sky Meadows State Park as well; a little smaller, a little closer to the venue but just as pretty.

Shenandoah County

VA

The surrounding area! Lots of country around here, though you can certainly find plenty of outdoor activities; the bride has actually gone skydiving in the area and highly recommends it. Choose your own wedding weekend adventure.

Virginia is for Lovers

Obviously, this is why we chose to get married in Virginia. No other reason.
