We're so excited to celebrate with you!

The story behind how we met isn't romantic or funny, we met the way many couples do these days--online! We both were super busy with our work schedules and meeting people was even harder. Our profiles matched and we started talking immediately. One of the first things he said to me was "if you can handle my crazy schedule this will work out". Being in Law Enforcement Nick worked the swing shift which meant seeing each other would be difficult but we were up for the challenge and made it work!

We had our first date at The Mill in Round Lake NY. Nick had no idea that I was considered a "regular" at this restaurant and was even a member of the mug club. Later, Nick said he knew something was up because when we walked in he remembers that he felt like he was in an episode of Cheers since everyone knew who I was. It didn't take long for us to click and for the regulars to take him under their wing or as he calls it "gave him the third degree". Nick and I continued to go to The Mill regularly together and enjoyed the good food, company, and music. We have been together ever since that first date.

One of my favorite things about Christmas is receiving ornaments every year. I love remembering the story behind each ornament. This Christmas Nick gave me an ornament that said "Our First Christmas Engaged" and when I looked up Nick had the ring in his hand and proposed to me. I am so happy that Nick asked me to marry him and can not wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
