Morgan and Kristen met during a fateful weekend with friends in a cabin in the Mountain State. Per usual, Morgan diddled and was delayed leaving DC and was late arriving to the cabin. His tardiness didn’t matter, Morgan had a mustache and a dynamic wolf dog by his side (RIP Willow). Locked out, Kristen drank her coconut water and waited for this Morgan character to arrive. Hours later, Morgan shows up in his Montana t-shirt and American flag shorts. Eventually, she mustered the courage to introduce herself as an excuse to pet Willow and rip on him for his lack of punctuality. Recognizing they had close to nothing in common other than petting dogs and skiing, the conversation ended. The next day during the scheduled hike, and in between falling over repeatedly, Kristen was taken aback by Morgan’s outdoorsman skills and rugged courage carrying his exhausted wolf dog up the summit of the mountain. They spoke a second time. Sparks flew. They realized they still didn’t have much in common, but that’s the beauty of love, opposites sometimes attract. They made s’mores. They watched Titanic.
