Matt and Kristen met at a local spot, Kelly’s at the Village, where Kristen was working at the time. After a few long months of Matt putting on the charm, Kristen agreed to give Matt his shot. After a fun first date, Kristen and Matt parted ways but agreed to meet up for karaoke later that night around 11 pm. That was the night Matt first learned that Kristen really enjoys sleeping. At least he learned early. Luckily, he didn’t take it personally, or you wouldn’t be reading this right now. Fast forward almost two years worth of adventures, endless laughter, brewery visits, late night walks with Callie (our little wolf dog), pool days with munchkin, Pokémon Go explorations, game outings, out of town travels, and casino excursions, Matt organized our two families to join for Christmas Eve, where he gave a heartfelt speech before taking a knee and popping the question. Happy tears all around as Kristen said yes!
