Kristen and Kristen instantly became friends when they met in the Singles Ministry of Franklin Ave. Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA. As their faith and friendship grew, they became closer as they served and led ministries together. Their daughters are only 3 months apart and they experienced mommy-hood together even being thousands of miles apart. No matter the distance, they will always be K1 and K2! Kristen is the proud founder of Practical Financials where she provides financial and event planning services.

Markayle and Omar first met in Mrs. Church's fifth-grade class, when Markayle stepped up to some mean kids trying to bully Omar. They've been best friends ever since. Omar is extremely driven, confident, understanding, and trustworthy. Markayle describes Omar's loyalty as undefeated and is happy to be a friend to someone who consistently beats the odds stacked against him. Their lifelong friendship has continued to thrive through high school, college, and beyond. Omar is Markayle's "right-hand man" and he proudly wears the title of Journey's God-Father.
