Kris and Kayle met on a rainy, GRAY Saturday while Kris was visiting her sister at work. Kayle was almost never scheduled to work the same day as Kris’ sister, but as destiny would have it, Kris and Kayle were introduced and the rest is history. They quickly found out how much they had in common such as their faith, passion for youth and teaching, love for black history, and so much more. Their love continued to blossom and the two soon became inseparable. On Valentine’s Day 2020, Kayle proposed to Kristen during a romantic getaway. The national quarantine actually brought them closer and true love continued to grow. In September 2020, the couple welcomed their baby girl, Journey Gray, to the world and cannot wait to continue to celebrate their many blessings as a family.
