The Welcome Party is conveniently located in Bellagio, at Lido Di Bellagio. Approximately a 10 minute walk from Bellagio Town Center.
The dress code is cocktail attire. Our photographers will be at this event as well :)
We are providing transportation to the venue from Bellagio via private boat. Pickup will be around 3:45 PM, location and exact time to come.
We are providing transportation from the wedding venue back to Bellagio via bus. Busses will start around 11:30 PM and run until 2 AM (exact times to come). If this does not work for your liking, taxis are available. We recommend booking in advance.
The attire is formal, encouraging tuxedos or formal suites and long dresses. The ceremony and reception will be on gravel and grass, while the after party will be indoors.
Please put away phones and cameras during the wedding ceremony as our photographers and videographers will capture the moment! Phones/personal photography are welcome before and after the ceremony, just not during :)
You are more than welcome to stay where you would like! Keep in mind, all provided transportation to and from the wedding venue have pick-up/drop-off in Bellagio. The nearby towns (Varenna, Tremezzo, Mennagio etc.) are easily accessible by ferry. Ferries run frequently during the day, but not so much late at night.
Check those passports!! Italy requires passport validity 3 months post travel dates (6 months is recommended). If your passport expires prior to mid February 2024, we suggest renewing prior to travel.
There are no current COVID-related entry requirements for U.S. citizens. However we strongly recommend keeping up to date with all COVID-related requirements as we get closer to August.
Both taxi and Uber are not as prevalent in the Lake Como area compared to the bigger cities and the U.S. You may be able to call for a taxi or car service if needed. We recommend you contact your hotel/host to see what options are available. Additionally, the bus and ferry systems are great ways to get around the area for local excursions.
81°/65° - Lake Como enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with pleasant temperatures and sunshine all year. August is peak vacation time to travel to the area with hot and sunny weather perfect for lake activities. Bring plenty of swim suits! The evenings might cool off...we recommend bringing a light jacket.
