Kristen & Kevin

Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Kristen Alves and Kevin Borba
These are our people - our cheerleaders, dance floor starters, and lifelong hype crew. These are the hearts behind our happiest moments. They’ve laughed with us, cried with us, and helped us become who we are. You'll see them looking fabulous and keeping the energy high from the aisle to the after-party. We love them endlessly, and we know you will too.

Kevin Alves

Man of Honor

They say older siblings are supposed to be the bossy ones, but somewhere along the way, Kevin became the bride's go-to for everything: advice, laughs, Starbucks runs, and life’s weirdest errands (usually with our dogs in tow like judgmental co-pilots). He’s 8 years older, but somehow they're always on the same wavelength; whether it’s a heart-to-heart in a drive-thru or tag-teaming a to-do list like it’s a mission from HQ. Kevin’s not just the bride's brother; he’s the bride's built-in best friend, her real-life Google, and an essential part of her every day. Kevin has always been the one she can count on — for the big things, the small things, and everything in between. Their bond runs on late-night pep talks, shared playlists (featuring plenty of Carrie Underwood), and turning ordinary moments into inside jokes. Having him in the wedding? Non-negotiable. Like, he actually had zero say.

Tabitha Alves - Lima

Matron of Honor

Tabitha’s been in the bride’s corner since day one—quite literally. As her big sister (by 11 years), she’s been part second mom, part personal cheerleader, and part “let’s talk this out” therapist. She’s the one who taught the bride how to accessorize, when to speak up, and how to laugh through the chaos. Over the years, Tabitha’s mastered the art of knowing when her sister needs a pep talk, a reality check, or both—sometimes in the same breath. She’s chic, sharp, fiercely protective, and somehow always knows exactly what to say. She’s also the ride-or-die for every wild idea, late-night brainstorm, and spontaneous DIY moment. From over-the-top party planning to random side projects, Tabitha is always down, no questions asked, and the bride wouldn’t dream of doing any of it without her. And now, she’s here to make sure her little sister makes it down the aisle, fully loved, fully ready, and fully herself.

Caden Jarvis

Best Man

Caden has been the groom’s best friend since childhood; which basically means they’ve survived every awkward phase, bad haircut, and fantasy football meltdown together. Over the years, Caden and the bride also formed a friendship that feels more like a sibling bond: full of sarcasm, support, and a mutual agreement to keep the groom humble. They may butt heads over football (Caden’s a Boomer Sooner, the groom’s a Texas Longhorn; pray for fall Saturdays), but there’s no one more loyal, quick-witted, or ready with a perfectly timed comeback. Best man was never a question. It’s just who he’s always been.

Taylor Avila

Bridesmaid

If friendship were an art form, Taylor would have a whole gallery dedicated to her. She’s been the bride's day-one; through every chapter, plot twist, and questionable phase; with a Pepsi in one hand and chips + salsa in the other. She’s spunky, wildly creative, and has the kind of loyalty that makes you feel invincible. She’s the heartbeat of this friendship. Having her here isn’t just special, it’s essential.

Daniel Fareira

Groomsman

Dano has been in the groom’s life since childhood, back when baseball gloves were too big for their hands and sunflower seeds were a food group. Since then, not much has changed; except now he’s part of their coed softball team with the bride, groom, and Caden, where he continues to be annoyingly good at everything without even trying. He’s the type of guy who can crack a joke, hype you up, and hit a walk-off—all in one inning. Dano has that rare “glue guy” energy: the one who brings people together, keeps the vibes high, and somehow makes ordinary life events feel like a party. He’s loyal, humble, and a certified good time; honestly the friend we’d all draft first.

Jayden Ewing

Bridesmaid

Jayden walked into our lives thanks to the best man and immediately made herself unforgettable. She’s equal parts fierce and fun, with a laugh that’s contagious and comebacks that are legendary. With her artsy soul, thoughtful heart, and a presence that turns ordinary moments into golden-hour magic, she quickly became one of our closest friends. Now, we couldn’t imagine this day (or any group chat) without her. Basically, she didn’t just come with the best man; she became one of the best parts.

Josh Buck

Groomsman

Josh has been friends with the groom since high school; back when carpooling to church retreats and late-night theological debates were just part of the weekend routine. He’s the kind of friend who’s always been there: steady, thoughtful, and ready with a well-timed joke or a surprisingly deep question. Whether they were navigating youth group or real life, Josh has been a constant; a calming presence with a sharp sense of humor and zero drama. Having him in the wedding isn’t just tradition, it’s a no-brainer.

Natalie Garcia

Bridesmaid

Jetsetter. Style icon. Cousin turned honorary sibling. Nat and the groom have been side-by-side since diapers; sharing birthdays, memories, and questionable fashion phases (he’s still catching up to her style). Their bond is the real deal: part ride-or-die, part roast battle, and part childhood injury report (including the time he accidentally hit her in the face with a soccer ball; love hurts, apparently). Whether she’s posing by the Eiffel Tower or lighting up a night out, Nat brings beauty, boldness, and big heart energy wherever she goes. Kristen’s lucky to have her as family now too. The bridal party just got a whole lot more fabulous.

Sergio De La Espriella

Groomsman

Sergio might be the only person who could flawlessly quote Hamilton and ESPN in the same sentence, and somehow make it work. He met the groom in grad school for sports journalism, and what started as a classroom connection quickly turned into daily group chat chaos. Alongside their third partner-in-chaos, Jarod, Sergio’s been delivering daily texts filled with sports debates, memes, and just enough unfiltered honesty to keep everyone humble. A theater guy with a deep love for sports and all the passion you’d expect from a Florida native; Sergio brings brains, boldness, and the best one-liners to the crew. If this wedding had a hype team, Sergio would be front and center… mic in hand.

Jarod Hughes

Groomsman

Born and raised in Philly, Jarod brings the perfect mix of chill energy, sharp wit, and “I got you” loyalty that instantly makes any room better. He met the groom in grad school and quickly became a core member of the daily group chat with Sergio; where debates get fiery, jokes fly fast, and friendship runs deep. Jarod’s the kind of guy who’s always down for a good time, always has the smoothest one-liners, and somehow stays cool even when everyone else is spiraling. If calm, cool, and collected were a person, it’d be Jarod. The wedding crew wouldn’t be complete without him.

Lucas Rodrigues

Groomsman

Lucas and Kevin met in grad school, where they bonded over sports journalism and the occasional existential crisis. Their friendship runs on check-in calls, mutual respect, and a healthy dose of soccer obsession (Lucas is the true fan, Kevin just got peer-pressured into caring and now suddenly has strong opinions about midfield formations). Their friendship is the check-in kind; the type where one call turns into an hour-long life debrief. Lucas is the calm, wise friend who always knows when to call and never judges Kevin for his fantasy football meltdowns. He’s loyal, hilarious, and will absolutely try to sneak soccer into every conversation at the wedding. Just don’t let the composed exterior fool you; this is the same man who once got shown on the Jumbotron at a Giants game and immediately ripped his shirt off. The dance floor doesn’t stand a chance. Lucas came to celebrate and to serve choreography. You’ve been warned.

Luna Rodrigues

Junior Bridesmaid

Luna is the quiet heart of the bridal party; gentle, thoughtful, and full of grace. As the bride’s goddaughter, she’s been a constant light in her life: the kind of girl who gives the best hugs and always knows when someone needs a little extra love. She might be soft-spoken, but her presence speaks volumes. Whether she’s standing beside the bride or helping someone feel included, Luna does it all with quiet strength and the sweetest smile. She’s elegance, kindness, and love; wrapped up in one beautiful soul.

Scarlett Lima

Flower Girl

Don’t let the tutu fool you, Scarlett is bringing main character energy to the wedding aisle. With a million-watt smile, the best twirls in town, and more sass than a bridal party group chat, she’s ready for her flower girl moment. Whether she’s striking a pose, flashing a mischievous grin, or leading a full-blown fashion show in the living room, Scarlett keeps us laughing and totally smitten. She’s sweet, fearless, and fully committed to cuteness at all times. In other words: she’s got this wedding day handled.

Audrey Lima

Flower Girl

Audrey is a tiny tornado of joy, rhythm, and pure weirdness, in the very best way. She’s got the moves (ask her for a dance, she will deliver), the giggles, and a signature personality that keeps everyone guessing. Whether she’s pulling a silly face, striking a dramatic pose, or making absolutely sure she’s wedged directly between the bride and groom at all times, Audrey lives for the spotlight and for being at the center of the fun. She’s goofy, lovable, and totally one-of-a-kind and the wedding aisle is about to be her runway.

Joey Lima

Ring Bearer

Joey may technically be the oldest ring bearer in wedding history; but when you’ve been part of someone’s life for most of it, titles stop mattering and the memories speak for themselves. We know he will embrace the title with pride (and maybe a little swagger). He’s walking down the aisle with his two beautiful daughters (our flower girls), bringing a perfect mix of dad energy, dry humor, and let’s be honest, a little chaos. Whether he’s fixing tractors or cracking jokes at family get-togethers, Joey’s been a constant source of laughs, loyalty, and love. Giving him the ring bearer role felt ridiculous… and also absolutely right.

Dean Lima

Ring Bearer

Dean is the newest (and smallest) member of our wedding party. He joined the guest list a little late—mostly because he hadn’t quite made his debut. Fashionably late, but absolutely essential. Dean will be heading down the aisle with his dad and his two sisters, bringing the rings, the cuteness, and just enough unpredictability to keep things interesting. We can’t wait to watch him make his grand entrance… whether he understands his assignment or not.
