How we met

Like all great modern love stories, ours began with the dating app tinder. #loveatfirstswipe After we exchanged enough texts to ensure the other wasn’t absolutely crazy, we decided to meet up for lunch. (Don’t worry mom, I told my roommates where I was going.) Conversation flowed easily over pizza and beer at American Flatbread, and the rest is history!
The Proposal

Our favorite Christmas tradition in the Flosterhoudt household is cutting down our own Christmas tree. On our annual trip to Ellm's Family Farm Kristen examined ALL of the trees to find the perfect one. Once one got her approval John got to work cutting it down. Kristen was carefully documenting the entire ordeal for social media, when John completely shocked her with a ring.
