Ohiopyle State Park is a beautiful state park just 10 minutes from our venue. The town is cozy and welcoming with some good eats and some shops. The park itself has opportunities for white water rafting, hiking, fishing, biking, and swimming. The visitor's center offers a great view of Ohiopyle falls without having to hike - also has some lovely educational installments for kids and a beautiful native plant garden. John's Favorite: the Meadow Run natural waterslides.
Fallingwater is a house designed in 1935 by renowned American architect Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) for the Kaufmann family, owners of Pittsburgh’s largest department store. It's one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s best known works. It's a must see for architecture lovers!
Lauren Caverns are the largest cave system in PA and are located just 15 minutes from the venue. The Caverns offer both guided and self-guided tours. This is a great option for geology buffs, kids, and those who love learning about the natural world.
