Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a large grass parking lot across the street from the entrance of the Fernstone Retreat. Parking is free. We will have a shuttle running from the parking lot down into the property where the wedding & reception will take place. The shuttle will also run at the end of the night to return guests to their cars.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Add the dietary restriction to your RSVP or please reach out to Kristen (304-794-8816) or John (304-444-5551) with any diet restrictions or allergies you may have.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are absolutely welcomed! We would be honored to have them be part of our big day.

Where should I stay for the wedding?

Answer

We will have some accommodations for family and the wedding party on the Fernstone Retreat Property. For other guests, we will have room blocks at Chalk Hill Lodge, Hilton Garden Inn Uniontown, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Uniontown. Ohio Pyle Vacation Rentals also has a lot of properties for rent near by. Please check out information on additional hotels in the area under the "Travel" page at the top of this website!

Where will ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Wedding ceremony and reception will both be held on the Fernstone retreat property. The wedding ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be under the Oak Pavilion at Fernstone. Be sure to wear your sunscreen and shoes that you would be comfortable walking on grass in.

What if I have difficulty walking long distances/ another mobility restriction?

Answer

Not to worry! We are going to have a shuttle running from the parking area down to where the ceremony will be held. We will also have a golf cart rented for the weekend which will be used to help transport people around the property.
