Our Story
Kristen and Joey met in the summer of 2022 while working together at a kids' summer camp. What started as a friendship quickly grew as they spent more time together and realized there was something more between them. Kristen fell for Joey's maturity and charm, while Joey fell for her loyalty and big heart.
They made things official in November of 2022 and quickly discovered how well they complement one another. Kristen has always loved sports and supported Joey through every game he officiated, while Joey, who is amazing with kids, supported Kristen in her work in the classroom. They are truly each other's biggest fans.
In a full-circle moment, Joey proposed to Kristen outside of Yost Ice Arena, the spot of their very first date. After more than 3 years together, they are excited to spend the rest of their lives side by side and can't wait to celebrate with the people they love most.
